My name is Marvin Dixon the founder of Verifacts Management Group. VMG (Verifacts Management Group) was started in 1986 as a Private Investigation and Security Company. As VMG evolved my understanding of the social relationships with law enforcement, negative behavior, and the lack of resources (money) impacts a person’s future.
In this space, I would like to share my personal journey as I navigated my early years of experience of dealing with law enforcement, how negative behavior alters lives, and the importance of creating multiple streams of income.
I have a personal example of how having several income streams allowed me to walk away from a job that went from bad to worse. Because I disagreed with a director of the agency that I worked for, I was demoted (no problem) but after I was demoted it seemed that each day I was being told that I needed training or that I wasn’t doing other things correctly. I’m sure that many of you have experienced similar encounters in your workplace. Being prepared allows you to walk away from that and that’s why different income sources are important.
