Not much is getting done in D.C. What is going on with the Democrats in Congress? The Democratic Party has the White House, The Senate, and The House of Representatives and not much is getting done. The old saying “united we stand, divided we fall” definitely applies to the Democrats at this moment in time. The moderates, the progressives, and the conservatives all want different things. They continue to bicker over the most recent plans to provide jobs and needed resources.
All of the different facets say if they don’t get what they want they will not vote on the bill. Give me a break! Why did we vote so aggressively in the last election? We didn’t send you to Washington to argue, whine and not compromise to achieve the greater good. The Republicans are united. In their wrongdoing, they remain united. They have no sense of shame. When they have the power, they slam dunk it! They know it’s wrong but to please their big donors they give big tax breaks and place the burden of taxes on the middle class. They don’t give a damn; they just want the money and the power.
When they obstruct Supreme Court appointments, they have no shame. When they are passing restrictive voting bills they have no shame-they remain united. The Democrats need to take some tips from the Republicans. Use the power you have while you have it. Be aggressive with it! Don’t even be concerned about the Republicans and how they will react. When the Republicans are in power for all they care the Democrats could be invisible. Democrats, use your power, be extreme with it. Use it to promote the greater good. This is your chance to bring back normalcy to this country. Don’t worry about repercussions. The Republicans never do. Look out for your constituents and what they want and need. Don’t let us down. We are counting on you. Be bold, go big or you will be sent home. Give us a like, a share, and a thumbs up!
