I cry for America when I see racism and bigotry perpetrated by former President Trump and his lackeys. I cry for America when I drive through sections of Atlanta that are so impoverished, they resemble third-world countries. I cry for America when I see Republicans sullying the democratic voting process. I cry for America when I see lies about the past election being propagated as truth. I cry for America when I see a vile, hateful, vulgar ex-president have a Svengali-like stronghold on many in this country. I cry for America when I see children of color being miseducated and lacking needed resources to enhance their educational experience. I cry for America when I see many that are so concerned about their guns being taken away but have no concern for the poor and downtrodden. I cry many tears and then I get up, make my opinion known, vote, and maybe run for office.
Let us not sit back and let our country go down the drain.
