Traffic stops are by far the most common interactions that people have with law enforcement according to a study conducted by Political Scientists Frank Baumgartner, Derek Epps, and Kelsey Shoub. In their book ( Suspect Citizens) according to their research, compared to their share of the population, blacks are almost twice as likely to be pulled over as whites-even though whites drive more on average. They also found that blacks are more likely to be searched. These scientists researched 20 million traffic incident reports and concluded that the Contraband hit rate during traffic stops was 36% whites, 33% blacks, and 22% Hispanics.
There are ways to avoid contact with law enforcement, and Verifacts Investigation which was found by Marvin Dixon understands most of the things that will help avoid simple traffic stops and potential arrest.
Marvin was licensed as a private investigator in 1986, founder of Verifacts Management Group (Verifacts Investigation & VMG REVIEW), Chief Investigator for two different agencies, Provided Executive Protection and Courier services (Monte Blanc & Tyler Perry Studio), and provided security services for a local restaurant group. Has experience in both criminal and civil investigations.
Verifacts Investigations will speak to any group interested in learning things that law enforcement is looking for during traffic stops and ways to avoid contact with police while operating a motor vehicle.
