A jury in South Georgia (Burnswich), convicted three white men of killing an unarmed black male! The verdict was the right conclusion for what they (offenders) did but I must say that the verdict stunned me, and many others because of the makeup of the jury panel.
The injustices as we all know have not spoken the truth in the Halls of Justice for people of color for decades. George Floyd’s unfortunate death may be a sign that people are willing to do what’s right and just. Let’s not be fooled by these two correct outcomes in the Hall of Justice. There is still much to be done but these recent outcomes suggest to me that people of all colors are not going to stand by allowing a few bad apples to continue on with their evil ways!
To The people of Brunswick, Ga. I salute your community for doing what was right (conviction) in the tragic death of Ahmaud Arbery. Together we can all change the world!!
