Numerous posts have been presented on this platform regarding the need to vote. These upcoming primary elections in May are more important than ever before. We have the chance here in Georgia to keep a hard-working Senator in office (Raphael Warnock) as opposed to electing his opponent (Herschel Walker), a puppet who will do whatever the big money donors ask him to do. He will not be for the people. The Governor’s race is a choice between the election denier (Brian Kemp), who had no regard for lives being lost during the pandemic, and an intelligent, diligent, lawyer (Stacey Abrams) who despite losing the last election (which her opponent oversaw as Secretary of State) worked to pay medical bills for thousands of Georgians.
Additionally, she helped small businesses acquire loans during the pandemic. The government is supposed to be for the people and by the people. However, power pirates are attempting to take our liberties, and make our state a cesspool for political favors, big business exploitation, voter suppression, minority rule, and oppressive policies. Vote, Vote, Vote.
