Don’t Question my Intelligence

Do Not Question My Intelligence

Every election year as it gets nearer to the time to vote politicians flood the radio
and television stations with political ads. Some tell us they want to get tough on
crime, but they do not support legislation to control the flow of guns onto the
streets. However, they support those that attacked Capitol Police Officers, causing
one of the Officers to lose his life. They say they are concerned about children,
and they are against abortion but do nothing to help children in underserved
communities once here while giving tax breaks to millionaires. They say they
want elections to be fair and free for all to participate yet they pass restrictive
voting laws. Is it the 1950s and 1960’s all over again? They are ecstatic about the
overturning of Roe vs. Wade, yet this goes against the majority of what Americans
want. They say they are concerned about senior citizens, yet they want to get rid
of social security. They say they want everyone to be treated as equals, but they
try and stop student loan forgiveness and money to Black farmers while taking
money from pharmaceutical companies and opposing a cap on medicine costs for
seniors. They support the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen despite the
many challenges in court where democracy prevailed. It is called talking out of
both sides of your mouth or the more common term is “telling lies.” Please do
not question my intelligence. I look at your actions, not your words! Thumbs up,
like, and share.
