Senate Race in Georgia
In Georgia, there is a run-off election for the 2022 senate seat, and early voting started on November 26, 2022, in most counties. On Sunday, November 27, 2022, early voting started in the district that I live in, and because of football Sunday I thought that the turnout would be very lite but I was wrong.
I first went to my usual polling place and it appeared that there was a wait time of about five to six hours so I went to a different location and waited in line for four and a half hours, had to get this done.
The takeaway from this experience was that people understand the importance of this election and they waited for hours to cast their ballots. It was pleasing to see so many young people voting on a Sunday and staying the course until their votes were complete.
The long wait times were well worth it because our future depends on who our next senator from Georgia will be, and for those that have not yet voted please do so. Thumbs-Up, Likes, and Shares.
