Angels Among Us
In this lifetime there are people that cross our path and leave an indelible mark. They are rare and because of this, we remember them. We know they are different from the many other people we encounter on our life journey. They are always upbeat and positive. When you need someone to confide in, they are there for you with a shoulder to lean on. When they listen, they are not judgmental. They don’t give advice, they listen, ask questions and let you decide. They say things like “You already know what the answer is, do what you know is best for you”. They make it a point to always help others. They help, but don’t enable. They keep a smile on their face no matter what is going on. Compassion seems to be their way of putting their helping skills to work. They usually pass through our lives for a brief period and then they are gone. They are not the norm. Because of their special demeanor, we never forget them. They are unusual but in a good way. They help, expecting nothing in return. They bless many people as they are a blessing in and of themselves. They are angels among us that help to make our journey more bearable. You always feel at peace when they are around. I hope that you have the opportunity to experience the presence of an angel in your life. If you are fortunate enough for this to happen learn from them. Mimic them.
