Do not go around thinking that you can do sneaky, underhanded things and not eventually be found out. That is simply what the phrase “what you do in the dark will come to the light” means. For every action, there is a consequence. Sometimes it takes the consequence a little longer to come but they will come. At some point, there will be a reckoning and you will have to take accountability for the wrong that you’ve done. If you know you’ve done wrong accept your consequence and learn the lesson.
