A Season of Awareness
The official (Christmas) holiday season starts in November (Thanksgiving) and runs until New Year’s Day. During the period around the holidays, we shop, attend parties, spend time with family, and enjoy wonderful foods….a very good time of the year. There is a dark side to this time of the year, predators looking for opportunities to take from others.
Crime as we all are aware has increased over the years, so it is important that we be vigilant, and focused while shopping as well as in our communities. There’s a saying that the early bird gets the worm, so I suggest to women when shopping try and arrive at your shopping locations early so that you can park as close to a business as possible.
Porch Pirates are on the prowl, let’s watch out for our neighbors. If you see something that’s not right, notify law enforcement, and if you’re expecting a delivery, have a neighbor collect the package for you.
This time of the year is a time that brings joy to so many of us but remember, there are those (predators) that can and will ruin this joyous time of the year. Remain as vigilant as possible. Happy Holidays…… Please give us a Thumbs-Up, Like, and Share !!!
