Safety Tips for Businesses
As a person who’s worked in security and investigations for many years, it appears that lots of businesses don’t take security as a dire concern.
Restaurants, Bars, Gas Stations, Convenient Stores as well as other business entities need to make security training a part of their business model.
I provided security for a local restaurant and have found several distractions that are detrimental to the safety of the staff and guests. Today cell phones are the biggest distractions, in some cases, drinking on the job, and just not paying attention are all concerning and problematic.
To test the staff where I provide security, during a shift I went to the business and walked throughout the restaurant and no one knew I was there.
To all business owners focus on more than profits, the security of your staff and customers should be a major concern……. no employees or customers, no profits.
Having a professional to train your staff on things to look for (hands in pockets, check out a person’s waistline) would mean a lot for your business. Finally, try to control cell phone usage while working. Please Thumbs-up, Likes, and shares
