Offering amazing customer service is important if a company or small business wants to retain customers, and grow their businesses.

Just recently me and other members of our family decided to go on vacation. Our flight was to Orlando Florida, and a one night stay in Orlando before heading to Cape Canaveral to board a ship the next morning. Upon arriving at the airport in Orlando, we had no ground transport schedule. As luck would have it, we meet a driver that solicits people in need of transport.The encounter with this person was a perfect match, he was very professional, he didn’t allow us to handle our luggage, he carried us to our hotel, and agreed to carry us to Cape Canaveral Port the next morning. This gentleman arrived ahead of schedule the next morning to ensure we would not miss our ship’s departure, and upon our return from sea he (driver) was at the port waiting for us.

During the time we were aboard the ship Glory, the crew members ensured that each person on board had a delightful and pleasant time. I personally spoke with a number of crew members, each of them advised that the customers are very important. Ourn cabin attendant assisted a number of guests sheltering on the same deck as our family. The interesting take away is that the attendant knew most people by their first names.

For those of us that are business owners as well as people looking to become business owners remember, customers are key to the development and growth of a successful operation. Like the person that drove my family and I, and the crew members aboard the ship Glory know that customers are to be valued
