Power and Influence

Upon googling Power the following definition was given……..The capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events. The question to me is what gives people Power? Money!

When  a person has power over you they can also manipulate your behavior to their advantage. While working for others that gives the employer Power over you because employees are depended on receiving a paycheck weekly, biweekly or monthly. 

Another way in which people with Power take advantage of the masses is with  Fear. A perfect example of how Fear is used are the campaign ads for the upcoming presidential election. One ad says that our borders are being  opened to immigrants, and that these immigrants will rob, rape and kill Americans. This type of statement is to create Fear.

The purpose of this essay is to shine light on how Powers and Influence affect behavior. I suggest that families begin as early as possible start having conversations with their kids, grandkids and other family members about saving, investing and acquiring other assets to generate wealth (money) so that they can be manipulated. Become a builder and stop being a consumer
