Compromised Justice System
There are those who want to dismantle our constitution as well as democracy. Our justice system was put in place as guard rails to protect the republic.
Some decisions made by the supreme court of the United States are alarming. There are several rulings that are shocking but giving a sitting president immunity that he or she makes while acting in the capacity of their duties is very dangerous.
On July 15, 2024 a judge dismissed the classified document case because according to the ruling, the special council was illegally appointed. I must admit that I have no knowledge about the selection process for any special council; however, it’s the first time that I’m aware that this type of ruling was handed down by the courts.
Last week I presented a narrative about private prison and the fact that some judges were sentencing some young offenders to long prison terms in a scandal called “Kids for Cash”. These incidents are a reason for concern.
The justice system needs overhauling and the only I believe this can be done is at the ballot box!
