Respect

We often hear people talk about respect. There are several ways Respect is defined, and one of the definitions given is due regards for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others.

It’s very disrespectful the way that people of color are treated in this country for the past four hundred years and counting. 

Other Ethnic Groups that have only a decade in this country are granted opportunities in business, politics, social groups as well as other organizations that are not accessible to people of color…..Disrespect

To be clear, other communities should be acknowledged for their successes……their communities were respected and given the opportunity to advance their causes.

As a person of color, all our community wants is to be Respected, given opportunities in business, politics so that we can build our communities the same as others in this country. After all, our Ancestors did build this country…..Respect!!
