The Love of a Mother!

How I Learned the Value of Dedication

I grew up in a single-parent home with nine siblings. Our mother worked two, and sometimes even three, jobs to ensure we had food to eat, a roof over our heads, and clothes on our backs. I must admit that times were often difficult, but our mother always managed to provide us with the basic essentials.

One lesson she repeated to us over and over was this: “The only hands you should depend on are the two at the end of your wrists.” She also emphasized the importance of family helping one another. These words became a mantra for us, guiding us through challenging times.

While my mother was a master of hard work and resilience, she didn’t know much about investing. However, she instilled in us a deep sense of responsibility, particularly when it came to using credit wisely. This foundation of values and dedication that she forged in us has led to opportunities and paths we never dreamed possible, given our humble beginnings.

I never imagined that one day I would be mentioned in two books, appear on major news shows, or work on high-profile criminal cases. Yet, these achievements are a testament to the lessons and work ethic my mother instilled in me and my siblings.

As young people, we often resist listening to our parents. I was no exception. But looking back, I am so grateful that I listened. Our parents love us and want the best for us—they won’t steer us down the wrong path.

To my mother, I owe everything. Her dedication and values have shaped who I am today. And to anyone reading this, remember: the foundation you build for your children will guide them long after you’re gone.

Thanks for taking the time to read the blog about the values taught by my mother. In your remarks it suggested that your in favor of a greater America, and so am I. Your correct about the pass; however, my blog only addressed the values my siblings and I acquired from our mother. As I assessed that post it appeared that someone had hacked my page. There was an article about making America Prey again, that article isn’t my doing. Thanks again for taking the time to read my blog.
