The upcoming midterm elections present a crucial opportunity to steer the country back on course. While we may not be able to change who sits at the top, we can remove the enablers in Congress—those who are actively working to undermine the Constitution.
You don’t have to be a Democrat or a Republican to vote in defense of democracy. The current leadership in our federal government has shown little regard for hardworking Americans. Just look at how those who have dedicated their lives to serving this country have been treated within the first months of this administration.
They promised to cut the federal budget, yet one key figure in the White House has seen their companies receive a $200 million grant—followed by another $3 million for another venture. Meanwhile, discussions about raising the debt ceiling continue, even as everyday working Americans face layoffs. This is corporate welfare at its worst.
Now is the time to rally our families, friends, and co-workers. We must take a stand and remove the “yes-men” in both the House and Senate who prioritize special interests over the American people. The midterms are our chance to reclaim the integrity of our government—let’s make our voices heard.
