In my last article, I wrote about the idea of forming a Black think tank—a group of dedicated professionals, experts, and community leaders focused on rebuilding and strengthening Black communities. Today, I want to follow up with a clear message: it’s time for us to get serious about this initiative.
This is nothing new. For decades, thinkers, leaders, and community members have envisioned ways to uplift our people and rebuild our communities. But vision alone is not enough—action must happen. We cannot afford to keep talking without taking concrete steps toward change.
Lawyers, educators, doctors, financial experts, researchers, and every person committed to uplifting our people—your knowledge and skills are needed. Together, we can create structures that empower, educate, and produce lasting economic and social impact.
