Welcome to Flight 2021

A friend on New Year’s Day forwarded the following piece that I found to be quite relevant. I asked that she allow me to post the following:

Welcome to flight #2021. We are now preparing to take off into the New Year. Please make sure your Attitude and Blessings are secured and locked in an upright position. All self-destructive devices should be turned off at this time. All negativity hurt, and discouragement should be put away. Should we lose altitude during the flight, reach up and pull down a Prayer. Prayers will automatically be activated by faith. Once your faith is activated you can then assist other passengers. There will be NO Baggage allowed on this flight. The Captain (GOD) has cleared us for takeoff. Destination GREATNESS, Have a Blessed 2021.

My thoughts:
Attitude is probably the most important talking point in the aforementioned piece submitted by Mrs. Byrd. The power of believing that all things are possible speaks volumes. To achieve the possible we must exude positivity in thought and deed. Leave the baggage in the rearview mirror. What happened yesterday is what we grow from and do not dwell on especially negative occurrences. It is said that God only helps those that help themselves. Regular Church attendance and fellowshipping with like-minded people strengthens one’s faith. During this time of Covid actual, physical attendance at church for the most part has not been possible. We need to only believe and treat others the way we wish to be treated. Believe in a higher power and know that this higher power watches over us all. Above all realize that the church is in you. Welcome to the flight, give us a thumbs-up, a like, a share, and please subscribe. We need your support.
