As a human being, I was taught to respect everyone, especially women. However, our current generation of young men seems to have lost their ability to show respect for women. It’s unclear to me why women are being treated with little or no regard by their so-called significant other but it’s happening in public as well as privately. Many of you perhaps know of a family member or friend who’s the victim of disrespect or abuse by a husband or boyfriend.
Why is this occurring and why are women allowing these abusive behavior patterns to continue?
I provide security services to a well known Atlanta restaurant. It’s embarrassing hearing some of the conversations from men and women that dine at this business. The “B” word, as well as the “W” word, is used by many young men in addressing or talking to their female partners. The strange thing is that many of the women that I observe in the restaurant seem to be OK with being called a “B” or “W” and in many instances, the language is more graphic.
As a private investigator, I’ve worked many cases where women are abused and dehumanized by their” so called boyfriend” and after all the dehumanizing things done these women still don’t want the men to be prosecuted for any of the horrible things done to them. Specifically, in one of the cases, karma came knocking on the door of the young man that perpetrated many dehumanizing acts upon a particular young woman and consequently was later shot and killed.
I’m sure that those that disrespect women don’t approve of other men disrespecting their mothers or sisters. In closing, I will say” to get respect you must give respect”. We as a people should strive to have much better relationships with each other and always treat each other with mutual respect.

You hit the nail on the head with this article. My comments are are not all inclusive but rather concerning the women that fit in this category. The problem is lack of respect for themselves. When you idolize women like Cardi B, Nikki Minaj and Megan the stallion, to name a few, you have a distorted sense of what a real woman is. We reap what we sow, therefore, however you present yourself, you will attract the same. Every mans passage of existence on the earth is through a woman. We owe it to ourselves and our men to require nothing less than the best that is humanly possible and respect!

Sorry but some of these Women areMen Sick. They are willing to except any type oof Man. They have low self Esteem. They will Neglect their Children to take care of a no Good Man. A Real Woman should know her self Worth. And If She carry Respect She can Demand Respect. A Man can’t go no further than He is allowed to. I will tell any Man that want me. It take a Do right Man to get this do right Woman. If a Man don’t have any Respect for God He certainly won’t have Respect for you. Some Women of today is just to Weak and Vulnerable. They will settle for anything.
