Time for some kindness

Driving along the Atlanta highways lately I see many cars weaving in and out of heavy traffic. When I look in my rear-view mirror someone is riding my bumper. When I go to the grocery store and a new line is opened up the customers at the back of the line rush to go ahead of me. Never mind the fact that I have been waiting in line for an exceedingly long time. The people behind me don’t care, which brings me to my next point.

Instead of being inconsiderate and impatient why can’t we just try a little kindness? The next time you are in a store and the person behind you has a few items ask if they would like to go in front of you. When someone is entering a door behind you hold it for them rather than letting it slam in their face. When traffic is heavy allow the other driver to safely merge into your lane. Smile at someone as you pass them. Compliment a waiter or waitress when they provide great service.

Let them know how much you appreciate their service by giving them a good tip. When your children do something well let them know how proud you are of them. Call a friend or family member and let them know how much you appreciate them. Compliment someone. Look out for your neighbor, offer to help if help is needed.

Try any of these suggestions and you will see firsthand how simply spreading a little kindness can make your day. Thank you for your support. Give us a thumbs up, a like, a share, and subscribe.

it’s much easier to be nice because being rude or disrespectful to others will cost you in the end. Thanks for taking the time to read our post
