When I turn the television on whether it’s morning, noon or night
there’s a shooting or killing in the black community. When did our
community lose the sense of family that we used to have? I can
remember when everyone in the community looked out for each other.
Why is everyone so angry? Guns were not meant to settle disputes or
minor disagreements. Everyone shot or killed has a family. That means
that every time someone is shot or killed it negatively impacts two
families. It’s sad and depressing that many black folks don’t have
enough self-love to walk away from conflict. Do we loathe each other
to the point that shooting or killing each other means nothing? Until
the shooting and killing stop, we could all be in a constant state of
grief. Show some love people. Love conquers all. We must stop the
violence. We are destroying our communities. Remember, we are our
brother’s keeper. Let’s show some brotherly love. Thumbs up, like,

Very good article. Families need to go back to prayer and being active in their community’s. People are scared. Gangs running loose, guns everywhere. STOP seeing and not seeing.

We need to run our communities like they were in the 60s ’70s, it takes a village…… you can’t say anything to another person child without being misunderstood!!!!
